Having worked with a number of established businesses in the manufacturing and industrial sector, we’ve learned a thing or two about what it takes to make a business really stand out. During the course of our work we’ve carried out many hours of research into the branding conventions and design trends in industrial companies. By choosing our manufacturer branding service, you’ll benefit not only from this knowledge, but also from our parallel experience in web design and print design. The benefit is that all branding we create is done so with a clear picture of how it will be used, something artists and designers without this insight often don’t consider. In order to get noticed by new customers great branding is essential and our designers can deliver exactly what you need to make the cut.
Data driven branding for manufacturers
We use a data to support our approach in everything we do. Whilst branding and designing creates a visual product, it’s still crucial to draw on data in order to make informed, practical decisions about the direction to take it. To this end, the first stage of any branding project is to carry out thorough competitor research to establish the design trends within your industry niche. In competitive industries our research keeps us on the pulse of current trends. Whilst we have amassed many hours carrying out research for our previous clients’ projects, there is always more to learn, so we always start here.
Informed branding for industrial companies and manufacturers
We assemble competitor analysis information into a document, then break individual examples down to understand the trends in typography, layout, colour and so on. We’ll then present this to you and talk you through it in layman’s terms, so don’t worry if you’re not a designer yourself, we’ll make sure you can understand our findings. We take the time to chat through the research with each new client to build a clear picture of their personal design preferences. Some clients have a strong sense of what they love and what they don’t, but it’s no problem if you’re not sure. We’re here to help you understand the practical effect of different design choices so you can make an informed, data-driven decision.
Using feedback in our manufacturer branding service
Once the competitor research has been completed and we’ve had input from you, we’ll move on to creating the branding concepts. Here we create a colour palette, collect a number of suitable typefaces and define server options for how the branding will look and feel. We arrange these into a number of drafts intended to show several directions in which the branding could be taken. Often small differences in typefaces can have a big effect on the look and feel of the final branding, so our designers play around with many different options at this stage.
We then present the concepts to you for feedback. Whether you can describe exactly what it is you like about one design over another, or simply have a gut feeling, we’ll again discuss things in layman’s terms to work out exactly what it is about certain concepts that you like. Once we understand your preferences, we refine the concepts into drafts of your final branding. We’ll continue to play around with some of the styling and typefaces, but by this point we’ll have a clearer picture of what the end product will be. Our aim is for our manufacturer branding service to deliver the kind of designs you’ll love for years to come.
Delivery of your branding
The drafts are again delivered for final feedback before our designers set to work finishing your branding. You’ll have a chance to offer any final feedback before we deliver the completed project. The branding designs can then be delivered by email in multiple formats to enable optimal use wherever our you see fit. We’ll send high resolution PDFs, scalable vectors, low file size JPEGs and print ready files. We can also add your new branding to business cards, stationary and other offline marketing materials, arranging printing and delivery to make the process as straightforward as possible for you. We can also adapt your branding for best performance as a social media header image, profile picture, timeline post or advert, delivering in the appropriate dimensions and resolution to make sure it looks great.
